PDP zones National chairmanship position to the South

The Chairmanship position of the opposition party, PDP, has been zoned to the South. The Zoning Committee of the party yesterday submitted its report on the zoning arrangements of the 21 available positions up for election between the North and the South at the party's National Convention in August.

According to the zoning committee, offices zoned to the South asides the National Chairmanship includes Deputy National Chairman 1, National Treasurer, National Legal Adviser, National Youth Leader, National Organising Secretary, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Deputy National Woman Leader, Deputy National Auditor and Deputy National Financial Secretary.
