The Governor of Ekiti State Mr. Ayodele Fayose In a released statement by his Special assistance on public communication and new Media, Lere OLayinka, said the consequences of conducting a credible election and handing over power to the winner should not be witch hunt by federal Government as obviously been done.
The Governor noted that,
if their must be any probe Nigerians, wants a general Probe ,not a probe targeted only at those who served Jonathan's government ,PDP supporters and those seen as not agreeing with the APC oppositions in the National Assembly.
This is because four years is a very short period and time is already going. Before you sleep and wakeup, four years will be gone and Nigerians will rate the government based on how well the government bettered their lives, not how many perceived enemies were hunted with anti-graft agencies, he said.”
He urged President Muhammadu Buhari to pay more attention to governance especially , the rising exchange of Dollar, Boko Haram insurgents that has come back strongly and he should be guide by rule of law.
