How to Identify a fake USB Devices/cord

USB(UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS )also known as flash drive or keychain drive  as seen in the picture above is a portable storage device that uses flash memory and is light weight enough to be attached to a computer.

A USB device can malfunction if you are not using he the original or quality type.

HOW TO IDENTIFY A FAKE USB

1. To detect  a fake USB device ,check the two holes that reveals the bus/contact, after checking if the conductor there is golden  in colour ,it means its copper which is original.

As we all know copper has high conductivity than aluminium,
copper also has relatively tensile strength which means the greatest stress a substance can bear without tearing apart. 

2 If you check the two holes of USB and you see a silver colour instead of a golden colour (copper)then its fake but not totally fake.

The silver colour means aluminium and Aluminum as 60%of the conductivity of copper but has a low tensile stress  which on most occasions makes your USB to fluctuate.
