Microsoft launches Windows 10

Technology giants Microsoft has announced the launch of windows 10 operating system.

Devices you already own including qualified windows 7 and windows 8.1 devices can be upgraded to the full version of windows 10 for free.

Windows 10 upgrade for windows phone 8.1
May vary from mobile operators or carriers and original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

 Users need 3GB download for the upgrade and the devices must be connected to the Internet with windows update enabled.

According to Microsoft the upgrade is available within one year of availability which commences July 29.

Warri and Port Harcourt refinaries begin petroleum production.

The Nigeria National Petroleum corporation (NNPC) in a statement by the General Manager Publicity Affairs , Mr Ohi Alegbe yesterday announced that the Porth Harcourt and Warri Refineries has begin petroleum  production after some of the in house Engineers conducted a Nine month rehabilitation on all the facilities.

Mr Ohi explained further says, for now, about 60 per cent of its 210,000 barrels per day capacity is been achieved, it is been projected that it will hit it's installed 125,000 barrel per day capacity soon.

Warri refinery would contribute 3.5 million litres of petrol ,while port Harcourt refinery will hit 5 million litres of petrol per day.

South African Pastor who made is members swallow snake has been arrested, granted bail.

Controversial south African pastor who is known for subjecting his congregation into eating grasses, swallowing snakes ,eating cloths e.t.c all in the name of performing deliverance has been arrested by south African police over the weekend.

Pastor Penuel Mnguni  after South African Society for prevention of cruelty against animal opened a case against the pastor last week.

The pastor was  charged with animal cruelty and has appear in Court yesterday July   20th .he appeared before a magistrate court in Pretoria and has been granted bail of $120 (£77).

El-Madon fellowship, is said to be a prayer group she started when are husband was on the run for his life as he lost the governorship ticket in 2007 gubernatorial elections.  As his husband wins governorship race she moved the prayer group to the state house and got it registered and emerged its sole signatory with her photograph submitted to the bank.

President Buhari Turns Down Alison Madueke`s Offer to Refund $250m

According to Sahara Reporters the former minister of Petroleum Resources , Diezani Alison-Madueke, has offered to refund the sum of $250 million dollars to the Nigerian government in return from further possibe prosecution and investigation.

The former Minister of petroleum oversaw several oil deals,direct looting of funds through the NNPC and oil well disposition by shell petroleum to the Nigerian national petroleum corporation (NNPC). Mrs. Alison Madueke`s latest offer to refund $250 million to the government came after she learned that President Buhari`s has scheduled meeting with US Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, would include a discussion of ways that the US government could facilitate the  investigation, arrest and prosecution of some officials of the Jonathan administration implicated in the theft of billions of dollars and variety of frauds that resulted in the loss of significant sums of public funds in Nigeria.

Mrs Madueke was said to have enlisted the support of several figures in and ouside Abuja,  close to President Buhari which includes, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of  Kaduna state, to Intercede with the incumbent President to accept her offer.

South Africa returns $15 million seized for the Purchase of arms

The $15 million seized by the South African government In 2014 has been released.The Money was said to mearnt for the purchase of Arms for nigerian government.

According to reports  the money was concealed in two black plastic suitcases. Also found on the men, were, an invoice for a helicopter and armaments meant for Nigeria. The Nigerian government then quickly admitted that it was aware of the transaction and informed the media that the process was legal.

It was said that the South African custom officers  intercepted  two Nigerians and an Israeli who arrived the country in a private jet allegedly owned by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) president, Rev Ayo Oritsejafor. They found 3 suitcases stashed with money when they ran them through airport scanners.

The sum of $9.3 million was seized by the South African authorities on September 5, 2014 and another $5.7 million was seized later in a transaction involving Societe D’ Equipments Internationale of Nigeria and Cereberus Risk Solutions, a South African arms company.

The consulting firm issuing statements on behalf of Nigerian security agencies, PR Nigeria, said the money has finally been released.

The money was released as a result of some legal and diplomatic processes initiated by the former NSA which “ensured that cash seized by the South African government during the cash for arms saga last year have been fully recovered by Nigeria”.
