According to TMZ It looks like singer Justin Beiber's
faith is what moved him to cancel the remainder of his 'Purpose World Tour',
according to Australia's The Today Show. While his team has
sent out
word that the cancellation was due to 'unforseen circumstances', the Australian
show reported that he may have done this to focus on his faith and even start
his own church!
TV presenter Richard Wilkins told The Today Show, "We
know that he was in the country a few weeks ago having meetings and attending
the big Hillsong convention that they had here. [He’s] very close to a lot of
the Hillsong people. Whether he’s looking at teaming up with them in something
of a more permanent situation or doing some sort of religious activity on his
own - starting his own church we’re not quite
sure, but that’s the word from an inside source.”
Beiber and the Hillsong pastor have reportedly
been close for many years now and Beiber has even praised him on twitter in
2013 for a sermon he delivered. But whether he is really finding his way around
or starting the Church of Beiber, TMZ has said that
his tour crew is very upset with him. The singer later
apologised to his team and everyone else in a video published by TMZ.
